Post Birthday Party Fun

After all the guests left we went outside for some entertainment...Brennen.
Marcia told him to turn around so we could get a picture and he did this...what a goof!
Him and Natalie got out her remote control cars that he loves! (Natalie is like a 9 year old boy with all her gadgets and toys).
Brennen is very animated when he uses the remotes. He twists and turns to make the toys go the direction he wants.

This is his favorite toy. Natalie's remote control spider (I dunno she's weird) He thought it was hilarious to make the spider some and "get you". Before it was time to go Marcia wanted to get a family picture for her birthday. He's the new, bigger, Wilson Family....oh so cute!
Brennen needed to make sure his baby sister was okay before we took the picture. He's so sweet with her and loves her so much...often times too much, but he's learning.
The Happy Wilson Family

Marcia's Birthday Bash!

For those of you who forgot...yesterday was Marcia's birthday. The big 2-5. And in true Hutchison fashion we celebrated it with style. While Marcia was napping with the baby, Brennen and I made her some cupcake pops. Brennen sat on the counter to help me and the moment I stepped away to get the pan and I looked up and he did this...

He had reached in and grabbed the spatula and immediately shoved it in his mouth. He thought he was so smart. Look at that smug face...what a crack up.

He thought he was sooo funny....I thought he was funny too

After I stopped laughing and I had to strip the boy down because we were making red velvet cake and that red food coloring gets everywhere! In the mist of combating the soon to set in stains Brennen found a bottle and decided he wanted to be a baby for a while, but he did grab the broom and help me clean up. What a nice boy.

I thought Marcia and my cupcake pops turned out pretty stinking good for our first time...here are some pictures of our scrupulous treat.

We went to my mom's for dinner and on the way over there we got stuck behind a lady who's car was smoking up a storm, and so Kurt being the good Samaritan he is, helped push he car across Washington Blvd and into the America First parking lot. What a guy! Anyway, while we were in the middle of the road with our blinkers on watching Kurt push the lady I grabbed a snap shot of the sweet little Ever.

It was quite the gathering at my mom's house. Marcia's favorite uncle even made an appearance. Along with the cupcake pops we had better than sex cake, ice cream, serbert, rhubarb crisp, and brownies. Can you say sugar feins!

Christy was in charge of Marcia's present and this is the card she gave her....it says "Thank you (and handwritten) for being born". She used a thank you card for Marcia's birthday. Oh Christy....she thought it was creative...we thought it was...cheap. Kurt's parents were there and thought Christy was kidding....oh but she wasn't. Our dear sister...

the now infamous card...
It was a birthday for the Hutchison History book and if I do say so myself a rather good birthday! Happy Birthday Marcia...you are a quarter of a century!
It's me again (Marie) and I thought I'd hurry and blog while Brennen is taking a nap to update everyone on what's going on in the Wilson household. On Saturday Marcia and I gave Ever her first bath. She didn't seem to tramatized by the experience so it went well. Of course I was there with the camera so here are a few of the pictures.
Marcia tells me that we can't get water on her umbilical cord and what does she do?...oh the first pour of water was right onto her belly....oh Marcia! After we established that we indeed wanted to avoid her belly things went smoothly.
Here she is looking at mom thinking "What on Earth are you doing to me?"
Here's the clean little Ever after a successful first bath.

Here she is in her cute little outfit. It was a very sweet dress and she looked adorable!

Some More Pictures

Hello There!
For the next little while I (Marie) will be blogging for Marcia since I'm up here for a couple of days to hang out and help out. So to get things started I thought I'd post some more pictures of this cute little baby. She's soooo stinker cute.

Don't you just love her? I do! Well, I'll post some more when I get the camera out. Marcia is doing great...just trying to adjust to the whole breast feeding thing. Stay tuned!

The Big Day!

I figured since this will be my last post before I have a child and who knows will another will happen after that, I thought I would catch you up a bit.

Here's our last picture as a trio, taken on the 4th of July up at Kurt's cabin.

Here's Brennen holding his new cousin Jayla, look at her little bald spot, dad Brett already buzzed it!!

Here's the animal hospital Kurt just finished building. What a talented man, I don't know if you guys have seen it. It's right off 7th street and Wall by the batting cages.

This is a video of Brennen on the 4th up at the cabin in a hammock! He was cracking us up the entire time up there. He is getting so funny and makes me laugh everyday!

My crazy aunt Lorie!!

My hardcore aunt is doing the race down in Death Valley the same day I am induced to have my baby!! YEAH for both of us, I think we are both crazy but YEAH!!! Here's her blog if any of you want to see just what these insane people go through for this race. It's a 135 mile race with weather projected to be around 115-125. It will probably take her around 40-45 hours (that's her goal at least). GOOD LUCK LORIE!!
