Misc. Events

So much has happened this summer so far and I am scrambling to keep up!! So in order from the latest of June to the beginning here is our events. First up Activity Days Camp Kiesel Day Camp! Here are the sweet little thangs! I am over the 8 & 9 year olds so look for the tiniest of the thangs and you have my girls. It's a fun calling. Our boat ride, me and bishop as commander and chief of the boat! Row!! Row!!!
A few of my girls had parents come along for additional parental supervision, thank heavens, I was the only leader there. Anyway officer Linke challenged me to a bb gun shoot off. He claims all the hits were his but we all know my mad skills, right?

Here are our priesthood holders!!! Aren't we lucky??? Jeff Johnson on the left and officer Linke to the right. So much love in the ward.

Father's Day weekend we ran Ragnar with the Wilson side of the family. We rocked it!!! Our team was Canada vs. USA. Can you guess who won the competition? Do you really need to? Here we are on our first break of the race about to go take a nap, we had an all nighter ahead of us.

Here we are at the finish line with the whole team!

Here we are rockin our Tee's. We're proud of ourselves, as always.

Ever has been fighting me about getting ready each day and by fighting me I mean screaming for 45 minutes straight (literally) if I get my way. I am serioulsy worried she has some major rage issues and quite a bit of crazy inside that little body of hers. But this day for some reason she let me without much fuss. Isn't she sweet?!

So tell me friends, how can she go from that^ to this in less than an hour??

Brenn's last day of T-Ball. He loved it!! He was also very good, he could hit into the outfield and throw better than most his team. But I'm not gloating or anything, I speak only the truth.

We went to the zoo at the beginning of June. This summer they have Zoorassic Park, so all over they have life like dinos with noise and all. We went with Barkley and Ange and had a grand ole time. Here is Ever touching the snake first and putting the boys all to shame... They of course had to approach it after her.

I am pretty sure this leopard is wishing she could have Clovi for lunch. Does the look in her eyes give you the willies, like it gave me? She just paced back and forth like this eyeing all the children like a buffet line. They thought it was awesome and screamed whenever she passed by, the moms however, were very grateful that we did not meet this creature in the wild.

This was the only dino Ever would approach because it made no noise. When the T Rex roared she just about peed her pants and jumped 10 feet in the air. Aren't they cute? They had a lot of fun. We need to go again, hooray for half off prices!!! This Raptor shot water out from it's mouth. And the best part, people didn't know this and would be just standing there and BAM soaking wet. Oh man I could've sat there all day watching their faces. The boys wanted to conquer the animal... I think they lost.

Well that's it for now. Next time fishing at Mantua and Bear Lake... Are you excited?

The 2 man, 12 hour (per man) playground

My dad likes to create projects that require some serious man hours and if you noticed the title of this here post you will see that he out did himself again. I present to you the builders, happy, confident, eager for the challenge.

And here is the building equipment, a builder, and some muscle we had to use from time to time. Tracy Holla!! (This playground seriously had 10 + pounds of screws, bolts, washers, etc.)Is that you pa? Oh no it's just a look alike his name would be PaBrennen

Best. Picture. Ever!

I would now like to present to you the distractors. But you would never guess that now would you? Kah ya right!

Not so confident...

Tricky Maneuvers...

2 1/2 weeks later we conquered the playground. We now can build anything!

Pure Joy

Clovi's 1st Birthday

So I thought I better keep on top things, and that thought came to me about 3 weeks ago and I am just now doing PART of it. Oh well, on to my babies birthday. The invites! Sorry if you didn't get one, exclusive VIP's only :)

I made these for the party favors...
I decided to forgoe all decorations and just concentrate on lots of yummy food. Our theme you ask, MONKEYS!! Because she is my chunky monkey. We had monkey cupcakes, chunky monkey pie (which it's really called that, it's a peanut butter banana cream pie, and quite delicious!), monkey popsicles, monkey cake pops. Each treat had a monkey label.

I am going to go ahead and say she liked her monkey cupcake!!

Whenever she puts on sunglasses I always yell, Hollywood!! And she just smiles so when Aunt Leah and Uncle Brian gave her these she of course had to immediately put them on!!

And our backyard was filled with present opener assistants. They were also very nice to try out all of Clovi's toys for her first. You know just to make sure they were fun, and they were.

Clovi facts:

She took her first steps 5 days before her birthday, she is currently walking all over my house. She is also my slowest in the walking category. I hold strong to my belief that is because I couldn't put her down because Ever would literally maul her!!

She can say several words (that possibly I am the only one who understands) but here they are. Most importantly mama, dada, pa, maama (this is grandma and it is very different than mama), also ka ka (kitty), da (dog) baba, and very clearly she says no. It comes out in a horrifically loud scream but I am certain that is what she is saying. This happens most often when her sweet sister Ever is near her.

She is the sweetest little girl on the planet. God knew how much I needed a calm, happy, baby and I was lucky enough to get her.

She is very nervous around other people, no matter how hard they try she will not crack a smile and more often than not she does the opposite and sobs hysterically. Uncle Jason can get her to cry faster than anyone, poor guy he just wants to give some love.

She has got a serious Cold Stone Stevens face. She will be great at card games one day.

I'm her favorite. Definately.

Every morning she has to go outside and check on the kittens. She sits there and hollers very loudly at them. So they of course are terrified of her. It doesn't help her version of petting is hitting them on the head or pulling their fur out.

I love this girl and am pretty sure I will be calling her my baby until she pays me to stop!!
