Ever's Birthday in Bear Lake

We went to Bear Lake in July and it was wonderful!! We had everyone there and all were in good spirits, that's how I like to vacation! We started our trip off right with a HUMUNGUS house all to ourselves with full benefits of the resort just down the road. Our first official outing was a hike to Sunrise Point (I think that's it's name) Can you see the love between Brennen and his uncle Greg? It's a deep love that runs straight to the bone. You see this love all started when we made a trip down to California and Brennen realized he had some common interest with Greg while he (Greg) was sippin on a sprite and all Brennen had and I quote 'dumb water!' Ever and Natalie have had a connection since birth.

Isn't this picture of Ever and Eden funny!! Brennen in heaven in the water, we couldn't keep him out!

The beaches were really gross you had to wade out like 3 feet in goo before you found reasonable water so we bagged it after the first day and played in the pool the rest of the time. Time well spent. My child never smiles!

Ever had a princess party for her birthday. We played draw the nose on Flynn Ryder, pin the kiss on the frog prince, had a tea party.

Ever recieved this sweet carriage from her aunts which they colored themselves! And we had Princess tie dye cupcakes for dessert. Delicious!

She was so hilarious with her presents, she gasped at everything she got. Which was mostly makeup and hair accessories. We of course had to immediately apply said makeup.

We gave her the option of swimming or mini golf, she chose both so we did both!! Hey it's her birthday. As you can tell she would rather sit in a hole in a tree than play golf...

We finished the night off with paper lanterns and had a lighting ceremony on the kitchen floor. (It was too light outside and we had tired children from all the festivities)

The next day me and Ever snuck out real quick and snapped some pictures of her... Too dang cute!! One of the days we went and rented those limo bikes for what we thought would be a leisurely ride around town. My father however being the race enthuisist that he is put childrens lives in danger by jumping the curb and careening down the bank of the road to get past us. Kids were screaming, mom was repremanding, I was laughing cause I was in the other bike.

This picture here is one of DOZENS taken by Natalie and Ever...

Some delicious stops while there, can't go wrong at La Beau's OR the frozen yogurt shop. YUMMY!

Does this picture alarm anyone? Brennen sees this swing starts running for it and guess who shoved him out of the way to get to it first? Natalie! THEN HE PUSHES HER ON IT!! HAHA!!!! I don't think she feels any shame for that either....

Our last stop before leaving was the race carts. They were truely a blast! The owner is super accomodating and nice. Plus they don't rip you off, highly recommend!!!

Once again pops endangers the children. Rule number one of race carts no bumper cars! Especially with children on board. My father NEEDS to win so he rams Natalie with Ever on her lap and they spin out. Nice mohawk man lends a hand, for shame father for shame!!

What trip I wish we had trips like that all the time!! Bear Lake until next time my friend.

Summer Lovin' Had Me A Blast!

We have been busy busy this past summer as you can tell by my lack of posts. So we are going to catch up! We got a year pass to the dinosaur park and we love going and bringing a lunch. It gets us out and we like to bring us some friends to come along!

We went fishing up in Mantua for an afternoon. You can't swim there unless you want swimmers itch (YUCK!) so we just threw rocks, caught a few 'baby fish' and relaxed! It was nice!!

We had a fun 4th of July. Every year we go up to Huntsville for their big party and this year Kurt and I ran the 10K. Now mind you I had just ran Ragnar like 2 weeks before you wouldn't think this race would've been hard for me but you would be wrong. It was so tough!! Now go ahead and ask me the last time I ran that far since then....ummm I haven't (slacker) These pictures are at my parents house having us some fun with sparklers.

I'm a star! Of course.... And this is Tracy doing using perfect form to execute her move!
~Me and Tracy decided to join forces and made beauty.

~Ever was a little nervous can you tell. She kept saying, 'fire is bad mom!'

We promised the kids a camp out but didn't want to have to go anywhere so we threw the tent up at the cabin and the kids were in HEAVEN!! They seriously asked to go to bed at 8 pm. I told Kurt let's just move their beds to a tent in the backyard. They'd never leave!!

~Natalie went through the temple in July WOOT WOOT! And I we got to go with here because she came here to do it!! It was awesome and even awesomer... Greg forgot church shoes so he wore his vans!!! Oh man I loved it!!!

~Next Ever's birthday so stay tuned....

Misc. Events

So much has happened this summer so far and I am scrambling to keep up!! So in order from the latest of June to the beginning here is our events. First up Activity Days Camp Kiesel Day Camp! Here are the sweet little thangs! I am over the 8 & 9 year olds so look for the tiniest of the thangs and you have my girls. It's a fun calling. Our boat ride, me and bishop as commander and chief of the boat! Row!! Row!!!
A few of my girls had parents come along for additional parental supervision, thank heavens, I was the only leader there. Anyway officer Linke challenged me to a bb gun shoot off. He claims all the hits were his but we all know my mad skills, right?

Here are our priesthood holders!!! Aren't we lucky??? Jeff Johnson on the left and officer Linke to the right. So much love in the ward.

Father's Day weekend we ran Ragnar with the Wilson side of the family. We rocked it!!! Our team was Canada vs. USA. Can you guess who won the competition? Do you really need to? Here we are on our first break of the race about to go take a nap, we had an all nighter ahead of us.

Here we are at the finish line with the whole team!

Here we are rockin our Tee's. We're proud of ourselves, as always.

Ever has been fighting me about getting ready each day and by fighting me I mean screaming for 45 minutes straight (literally) if I get my way. I am serioulsy worried she has some major rage issues and quite a bit of crazy inside that little body of hers. But this day for some reason she let me without much fuss. Isn't she sweet?!

So tell me friends, how can she go from that^ to this in less than an hour??

Brenn's last day of T-Ball. He loved it!! He was also very good, he could hit into the outfield and throw better than most his team. But I'm not gloating or anything, I speak only the truth.

We went to the zoo at the beginning of June. This summer they have Zoorassic Park, so all over they have life like dinos with noise and all. We went with Barkley and Ange and had a grand ole time. Here is Ever touching the snake first and putting the boys all to shame... They of course had to approach it after her.

I am pretty sure this leopard is wishing she could have Clovi for lunch. Does the look in her eyes give you the willies, like it gave me? She just paced back and forth like this eyeing all the children like a buffet line. They thought it was awesome and screamed whenever she passed by, the moms however, were very grateful that we did not meet this creature in the wild.

This was the only dino Ever would approach because it made no noise. When the T Rex roared she just about peed her pants and jumped 10 feet in the air. Aren't they cute? They had a lot of fun. We need to go again, hooray for half off prices!!! This Raptor shot water out from it's mouth. And the best part, people didn't know this and would be just standing there and BAM soaking wet. Oh man I could've sat there all day watching their faces. The boys wanted to conquer the animal... I think they lost.

Well that's it for now. Next time fishing at Mantua and Bear Lake... Are you excited?
